Noreen Giffney

Noreen Giffney BA Hons, PhD, MSc, Clin Dip is a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist in private practice in County Donegal and Lecturer in Counselling at Ulster University, Jordanstown in County Antrim. She is a Founding Scholar of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and a fully accredited clinical member of the IFPP, NIIHR, ICP, CPJA and UKCP. She works with clients on a long-term and short-term basis. She also provides research supervision for PhD study on Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy at Ulster University. She is the Director of ‘Psychoanalysis +’, an international, interdisciplinary initiative. She has published and lectured extensively in clinical and academic contexts.
